Susanna Nurminen
Certified Instructor of Klein Technique™, Helsinki, Finland

Susanna Nurminen was born and raised under the midnight sun in Rovaniemi, the city of Santa Claus, in Lapland, Northern Finland.

In 1993 she graduated with a MA in Dance from the Theatre Academy at the University of Arts, Helsinki. And in 2002 started her studies in Klein Technique™ at the Full Moon Festival, Pyhäsalmi, Finland with Susan Klein and Barbara Mahler. She was a member of the Second Klein Technique™ Teacher Certification Program at the Susan Klein School of Movement and Dance in N.Y and became a Certified Teacher of Klein Technique™ in 2016. 

Susanna has been living in Helsinki since 2003 and has taught and performed throughout Finland as well as in Europe, Asia and Greenland. She is teaching dance and Klein Technique™ in Finland.

In addition to studying with Susan Klein in the Teacher Certification Program, Susanna has regularly been taking classes and workshops in Klein Technique™ with certified teacher Karin M Jameson. For Susanna, Klein Technique™ provides space and opportunity to explore open-ended learning experiences that support the individual both in dance education and in our life-long education to understand and interpret the surrounding community as an individual.
